After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disoriented, he lands in New York City as an ordinary teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity should discover ways to continue to exist in the brand new world until he can in some way find a way to regain Zeus’s favor.
But Apollo has many enemies-gods, monsters, and mortals who would really like to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs assist, and he can recall to mind only one place to go . . . an enclave of brand new demigods referred to as Camp Half-Blood.
